I've been enjoying the Buffalo Trace on the rocks over the past week. I'm finding that it's too watered down by the time I get to the last swallow. Maybe I should keep the bourbon in the fridge so it doesn't melt the ice so quickly?

But thanks for the continued recommendations.

I've been trying different bourbons lately by taking the first sip neat, to see what smells/tastes I pick up. Then, i drop 2 small rocks in the glass. For, at lest, this seems to perfectly open up the bourbon without watering it down

Keep it in the freezer and you''ll never choke on an ice cube.

My local pub actually keeps a decent selection of bourbons (MM, Makers 46, Wellers Reserve, Woodford, Bookers, Basil Hayden, Russell's Reserve, WT, etc...) as well as a very large selection of single malt scotches. So I've been able to sample a lot of different bourbons without having to buy an entire bottle.
