Why do I get the feeling that you really don't like whisk(e)y?

i bought virgin 101. yuk. cant drink any Evan Williams whiskey line.even single.

should of got blackbush and gamble if good or bad bottle (flat, alcohol taste)

well, maybe I'll just import.

well i love whiskey. i just finished dickel 12 I imported. loved it.

i might get no 8 for a less oak one. does that have I big mash like back palate.

maybe black bush is so mass produce bad batchs are common.

The first one had the retained soft chewy fresh oak with big vegetable heat explosion back palate.

The other ran flat and bitter strong wood with present alcohol.

the batch code was 7 below the good one (31019712)

maybe i could try again? maybe it's not worth the gamble.

Perhaps you could convince a retailer to convince an importer to get a pallet of Dickel #12. Or just make friends with a few business travelers who'll pick up a few bottles for you each trip. Where there's a will...

Is no 8 thin cause I was going import that one over 12 I've had before.

12 I though was Flawless entry to finish. That big mid palate was the best. Alcohol hidden. Tasty
Select import years back. too burnt and toasty and THIN for me.

was thinking 8 for light like JD but less rough and real fresh and buttery and maple charcoal hit.

I might buy blackbush again. maybe it was an unlucky batch code. it is mass produced so maybe this can happen.

I'm confused how blackbush fits in, do you a recommendation for a bourbon or an irish?

any comments on dickel 8.

I hope it's not thin with alcohol not hidden. I assume not.

the black bush turned out good. not a bitter alcohol reek one.
