Here in Louisville, there is a local place called Homeade Pie and Ice Cream Kitchen. They have just come out with an ice cream called Bourbon Maple Nut Ice Cream. It's made with; Parker's Heritage Bourbon, with real Vermont maple walnuts and pure Dutch cocoa from Pennsylvania. Made with local dairy milk (Dean's) and regional pure ice cream. It's delicious! You can really ' taste the bourbon. It's a limited time ice cream. Maybe only sold until after the Kentucky Derby next month. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you add this to your bourbon collection. Check out their website.
Interesting. A little heavy for me, but, peoples palates these days need to be hit with a sledgehammer to get anyones' attention. Recognizing it's also designed to be over-the-top I'd go with a super light extra milked down eggnog formula and something like Ancient Age 80 for the corniness. Add pecans to maintain the southren flavor.
