Charter 101 is made from the same distillery and I think it is a great value bourbon. The 8 year old and 10 year old Old Charter are very good as well

Finally got around to giving Benchmark a try. I mentioned it in another thread, but I'll repeat here: It's pretty good! Thanks for the heads-up. Just like you said, a cheaper-tasting version of BT... it'll be fun as part of the value-pour rotation, for sure. :)

If it was me,for the money....I'd go with Jim Beam Black.A definate mid-shelf whiskey at nearly bottom shelf prices...

Of course,I like Beam White Label so Beam Black is defnately good stuff in my books...

I definitely plan on trying that sooner or later. But what's kept me from being excited about it is price. At $29.99 for 1.75L, its gotta be $15 better then EW:B (which is $14-15). It's an odd bird, it's quite a bit more expensive then several of my current value pour choices, but also a bit cheaper then my favs like BT, KC, WR (but not enough to be considered 'value pour' for me).
