Last night I had a Lot B 12 year old Van Winkle followed by a 2009 release of the Thomas Handy Barrel Strength rye. Both were superb!

At the moment, I'm enjoying a nice pour of Evan Williams Small Batch. A little on the cheap side, but it is certainly hitting the spot. I may have a sip of some Woodford a little later.

Tonight I am enjoying several pours of Eagle Rare 17. The last two weeks have been challenging.

What do you think of the ER 17, Greg? I have one bottle but haven't opened it yet. I've heard mixed reviews, but mostly the complaint is the price for a 90 proofer.

If it is the 2010 or 2011 releases I found both of these to be truly outstanding! Well worth the price. The 2009 was not up to the usual excellent standards of the BTAC.

Drinking a new 18 y/o Willett wheater. This is just phenomenal bourbon and I only post about the exceptional stuff. This is it. It's at barrel proof so it needs to be cut a bit but once you do, WOW.
