Lets hear it folks... You asked, you begged, now here it is.. the OGD 114 takes the cake for current Beam products (not my bag. I do not like the metalic taste in the current stuff)

So sound off on why

I am going to go ahead and defend my vote. I went with Price/value point. This is a barrel proof in the sense that it has a very high proof which makes it a good deal. It sells for 22.95 which is a good deal. It is the highest rye bourbon on the market which is a good deal. And finaly with a little water added to lower the proof down around 100 proof it is better then the OGD BIB IMO which is a good deal. So in summery this bourbon is a all around good deal. :)

I picked "Price/Value" but I wouldn't buy this if I didn't like it. It's a staple of my repertoire and a damn fine example of quality whiskey for a reasonable price -- the taste is why I drink it, the price is the reason I stock up so heavily -- every time I pass the store that sells it for $18 I grab at least one bottle.

Good flavor at a reasonable price. The poll is telling the key to success for the brand.

I like the flavor. The bottle that I got seem really good. I drink it on those cold winter days!

Sorry, but I will not drink ANY Beam whiskey, PERIOD. The National Distillers OGD 114 is some of the best bourbon to be savored. I am fortunate enough to have a 4/5th of this nectar of the gods of whiskey. It is a delight to sip with just a splash of mineral water.
