Unread postby dnsouthky » Sun Jul 05, 2009 11:06 am

For a Six quart Crock Pot.

1 large Sirlion, Arm, or similar roast.
Soak over night in one cup AA or whatever you want.

Line the bottom edge of CP with small red new potatos.
Salt, pepper, both sides of roast heavy.
Garlic both sides lightly.

Lay in the bottom of the CP between the patatoes.

Cover Lightly with basil and parsley on top.

Add two cans of Campbells double strenght beef broth and the AA you soaked it in.

Add a layer of THICK CUT ONIONS or quarted onions (perfer Vidalia or TX sweet white)

Add a bag of baby carrots on top.

Cook on low for 10hrs checking a couple of times to see if you need to add water.
Cooking it on high it isnt as tender and you need to add extra water and bourbon at the begining.

Enjoy after 10hrs

If going to put on and leave without checking until done add 2 cans of water to ensure it doesnt dry out and extra bourbon to ensure taste is correct.(extra half cup AA) with do the trick.
Remember even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then. ----- I just hope to live my life as happy as a blind hog and find my own acorn every now and then.
