One of the wonderful things about the spirits markets in general and the bourbon market in specific is that there is no regular correlation between quality and price. Put in other terms, this is a very competitive market with little pricing power, so it is frequently possible to buy excellent underappreciated spirits for very good prices. (Try Luksusowa Vodka, for example.) I see that you are also in Montgomery County. Amazing, isn't it that Big Government, Big Tax Montgomery County in BG, BT Maryland has some of the best prices on spirits in the US?

The reason the prices are so value based is that the Montgomery County ABC is a not for profit entity therefore, prices are very reasonable, especially when on sale.
