I can't bring myself to add any water or ice to Stagg. It seems like it would be sacrilege. And to me, it's perfect straight. I love that oily quality it has.
I did however try it while eating some 70% cacao dark chocolate. Beautiful combination...
Too much of anything is bad, but too much of good whiskey is barely enough.
