Well, this is a very interesting bourbon indeed! Thank you both Gary and Mike for your thoughtful tasting notes. This is a totally new bourbon from a totally new source. The future has finally arrived. Let us toast to it's goodness. That micro-distillers both survive and thrive given our very uncertain economic outcome.

It is all too easy to prophsey DOOM, yet ima foretells Bloom! Fall is upon us with colorful splendor, but the white of winter will whither away the colorful harmonica of the autum. Blue ice and the white of snow will befall us.

Yet the spring will arrive, and the colorful blooms of spring will burst forth. Patience is all that is required, and faith in the future.

Where there is faith - there is a future.

Linn,
If this bourbon sets the standard for craft distillers, then I do predict a growth in their sales as demand out paces the supply. It could be the next golden age of bourbon brought about by the craft distillers.

Will this remain native to Kentucky or eventually make it out to New England?

The Woodstone Creek is in Kentucky, Indiana and as of recently, Ohio. Being as there are only 23 cases, I doubt it gets much further than this range. His next release could be bigger, but I doubt it will be much bigger. I suspect that he has reached the market he plans on doing business in and does not plan to grow it. He is a craft distiller and will be happy to sell all he produces in the tri-state area in which he lives.
