Not a bad version of Maker's. Think "red" meets rye. Not a gateway bourbon for the absolute novice, and not so complex for the veterans; this bourbon is an interesting take on the standard Maker's Mark. For what it cost it was too much. I am not disappointed in having tried this bourbon, but would not seek it out again. I would recommend getting the "gold" Maker's if anything.

It finishes on a sweet and spicy note. About a medium finish.

t tastes like the red but with more um mph. Somewhat harsher than the regular red.
A little spicy too. Cherry and vanilla with a hint of wood gives way to a sort of spicy taste.

Sweet, cherry and wood.

standard info plus whiskey written in Japanese.
