I agree with both reviews and have noted especially the fruity quality found by Mike Veach. This surprised me. I thought the double-barreling would result in a drier, woody-type drink but it didn't. The relationship to the Fall '05 Stagg in the quality of the fruitiness seemed evident. I liked all 3 of the expressions including the French oak version which was just superb. I only had small tastes of each in Bardstown recently but felt these whiskeys were tops, typical BT quality.
