I DO like this, but, I find it lacking the full mouth you get from an ABC straight bourbon. The only way I can describe it is as having "profile holes" where there is no taste in an area of my mouth that I am expecting taste to be there. OK, right you taste with your tongue but maybe you know what I mean. The empty parts are not necessarily a bad thing as they can be filled with some excellent mixers, it may be the perfect julip or whiskey sour whiskey. This whiskey is it's own animal. Unique. Maybe it's the whiskey that can do things that bourbon CAN'T do, but it can't do everything bourbon CAN do. As an aside I'm calling the ball that this will be the new cachet "call" whiskey and absouletly unseat Jack as the whiskey the in crowd drinks. As such I need to drink more of it, or at least be seen drinking it.
