first couple pours seemed very hot. i started opening the bottle earlier in the evening then having a pour an hour or so after the bottle was open. much better in my opinion.

first impressions were hot and oily. not much character. finish lasted a little longer than i desired.

half way through the bottle, impression is much different.
not as hot from beginning to end. definate taste of cinnamon up front. finish is smooth.

overall, for mid $20's i think it's a pretty respectable pour. after the bottle opened up i can definately relate to the rich velvety taste indicated on the bottle. it's not extremely fullfiling but not bad overall. it gets a little watered down towards the bottom of the glass when poured over ice.

hope this helps.
