Wild Turkey Decanters

Unread postby stardotstar » Sun Jan 09, 2011 6:03 pm

I have the complete set of WT Decanters. I keep them sored in a closet and noticed that the boxes are getting dusty and somewhat messed up due to moisture changes.

I need suggestions on how to properly store these better.

Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

Don't store them. Throw the boxes away, drink the bourbon, and sell the decanters on ebay.

I agree with the other :) we are bourbon drinkers, but the best way would be to put them into another box or set of boxes and seal that box. That will keep them safe.

I recomend you drain the bourbon (really) if you do not plan on ever drinking it. Many of folks (ME ME ME) would gladly/buy take the juice. It is not going to help the value of your decanters, it adds weight and over time will eat the insides.... Otherwise, just box and save them. The juice will eventually evaporate out as it eats the corks over time (WT is a funny juice).
