Value of Frederick Remington Jim Beam bottles?

Unread postby RobotAZ » Mon Oct 19, 2009 11:41 am

See my avatar please. I have been toting this bottle around now for many years and never even considered its value. My uncle, who's a Robertson, told me that I'm related to the guy on the bottle, Lt. S.C. Robertson, so I wouldn't sell it anyway. I'm just curious. Thanks.

Google "Frederick Remington Jim Beam" and you'll find plenty of examples. $5 to $10 seems to be the going rate.

Friends who find Beam decanters at garage sales often give them to me. I assume there are some rare ones that command attractive prices, but the ones I have all seem to sell in that $5 to $10 range.

My understanding is that there are several specific Beam decanters that are much more valuable than the majority. I have seen the Frederick Remington in person a couple of times, in different locations. I don't think it is one of the rarer ones. You could browse Ebay to check prices. The folks that collect Beam decanters have information out there on the web.
