lot 40 canadian

I found what I consider today to be a real treasure, lot 40 canadian rye. There is no way that I can tell how old the bottle is, but I think this stuff came out in the 90's. The guy in the store said it had been there at least 10 years. I have always wanted to try it. I came upon it by, going to a store in ithaca, to get some rye to study up on, and compare it to the rye we are making. We have no selection here. This stuff is great. Why can't all canadian be this way? I did a search of the forums, and was unable to find anything. Has anybody else had this?

John Lipman has always considered it one of his favorite ryes. I have trried it once, but only after several other pours so I don't have a good feel on what it was like other than I liked it.
