I have a bottle which on the label says "Copyright 1941". It has foil wrapped arounf the cap area. On the side is a Indiana Tax Paid sticker.
There is a label on the neck That states 7 yr. old whiskey

I tried to post pictures of the bottle.
If you would like to see
email request to 1pennypincheratinsightbb.com
any help in finding out how much it is worth is appreciated

Thanks

I bought the bottle at an auction about 20 yrs. ago, from a priest that gave up drinking.
this bottle was part of a tente
Father Hillary told me that this bottle will be worth alot in the yr.2000. well needless to say I forgot about it till now.
So that is why I ask this question.

Mike,

There's no magic answer to your question. It's really only worth what someone is willing to pay. Sites like BE and others focus on the provenance of bourbon and our respective experiences with various offerings. While there is a strong enthusiast community that buys older bourbon, its sole purpose is to drink and enjoy those rare bottlings. I would suggest that if you are a bourbon drinker, you open the bottle, raise a glass to Father Hillary and enjoy what should be a fine bourbon.
