The Commonwealth Distillery address was Louisville. When Julian's father was bottling these decanters, he might not have even acquired the bottling house and warehouses in Lawrenceburg.
I actually had one of these decanters for a tasting I did for Black Acre several years ago. Julian told me it was some Yellowstone whiskey his father had purchased and bottled. It was quite good bourbon even at 80 or 86 proof (I don't recall the bottle proof bu I do remember it was in the 80 to 90 range.) You might find one on ebay, but I would not count on it, Commonwealth did not bottle a huge amount at the time and most are probably empty by now.
