Antique brand ky bourbon

Unread postby underbook » Wed Nov 12, 2008 3:06 pm

I am looking for a full or empty Antique brand Kentucky bourbon bottle, to purchase.
Also, some info. Is it true Four Roses distributed this brand? Did they make a square bottle?
What year did they quit bottling?
Besides being a whiskey enthusiast, I make my living as a professional restorer, and am restoring an unusual
Antique bourbon backbar piece which needs this botle. Thanks to any who wish to help,.
This is a gret site!!

mozilla, et al, thanks for your time and help. I am looking for a square Antique bottle, a quart or fifth, either is OK.
It is impossible, or difficult, for me to know which exact bottle I need; any square fifth or quart with an Antique label would do. This is for an unusual chalk, backbar figure, quite large, with two sea captains "at the wheel." I am also looking for a round quart Antique bottle for a ceramic backbar figure of a pugilist ala John L. Sulliivan.
Again, my sincere thanks for your generosity in sharing what is apparently impressive knowledge..

Well, thanks again. I have done lots of research, reviewed a ton of advertising, and also have not found a square Antique bottle. Perhaps a special edition. It is also possible that the square indent on the backbar figure could be for an ashtrayor tip tray. On another note, ever heard of a logo "Perfect All Ways" ? You've been a great help -- all the best

I have a pint size, although it's hip flask shape. I dipped into it too, but I'd simply give it to you if you just paid shipping. I'd rather see it on a bar rather than in my cabinet (for cooking--vanilla infusing, actually). I may be able to grab one unopened...
Send a PM.

I'd love to buy an empty, especially in a pint, because I would be removing the labels and applying them to a square 4/5, probably an old Beam bottle. Let me know the cost and I'll forward funds asap, immediately if you have paypal.
What a great site this is. Is it because eveyrone sips and posts? :)

Thanks, mozilla. Interesting that the Antique bottle I was bidding on on ebay went for 54 bucks plus 15 shipping
wow! 69 bucks is a lot for a bottle of early times s. Finding an empty square bottle on ebay is a good ideaea. Better than buying something I don't care for in a square bottle.

It it's older Early Times (KSBW), that's good stuff. I have a handle from '79 and 1/2 pints from the same period and it's very good bourbon.
