I found someone nearby that has a few old bottles of whiskey...
These bottles are all unopened.
He is offering to sell them to me... Two questions for you: 1) Are any of these older bourbons worth my time... 2) What would you offer for any of these bottles if you were buying?
1. Beam's Choice Collector's Edition Volume IV- 4/5 quart aged 8 years 90 proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey. From around 1969 I believe. Comes with box which is in alright shape.
2. Kessler American Blended Whiskey- 500 ml 80 proof. Seems pretty old.
3. Old Quaker Straight Bourbon Whiskey- 500 ml 86 proof. Aged 6 years. From 60s (has the federal law forbids sale or re-use of the bottle
I think these are all around 1970 or earlier. Please respond soon and let me know!
