I went into DC this last Saturday and picked up a number of nice bottles:

Old Fitzgerald BIB - various sizes. Two of the bottles had tax stamps over the cap that read 1971 and said Stizel Weller Distillery vs. Old Fitzgerald Distillery.

Cabin Still - SW bourbon

Heaven Hill
Old Crow
Wild Turkey 8 year 101 - big 1.75L of these puppy's. Got 4 of them
Old Fitzgerald Prime 90 proof
IW Harper 86

It was a good day of hunting.

I had not read your post when I posted my review of WT 8 YO.......... a fantastic bourbon. Send me you address so I can steal one of these great bourbons. Or better yet, let me buy one from you!

It was indeed a great trip for you. Congratulations!!

Wild Turkey Old No. 8

Unread postby ggilbertva » Mon Aug 27, 2007 2:17 pm

I don't know much about the WT Old No. 8 Brand. Anybody have any input on this particular variant? I have the 8 year 101 which is quite good and am curious about the No. 8.

Mike - you had this one?

Cheers/Greg
