early times decanter

Unread postby shookmonster » Thu Nov 30, 2006 12:48 am

i just got a hold of an empty bottle of early times straight whiskey.

i believe its a 1980's decanter, its the heritage edition. i have the wood box, the bottle, the tag for around the neck of the bottle and the card to send in to register the bottle.

i was wondering if this was worth anything, its in good condition and could show pics if anyone is interested.l

I doubt that three are many on this site that collect empty decanters unless they obtained them when they were full. The primary interest is in the contents.

If you are looking for a monetary value on empty decanters, I would suggest that you go to your local bookstore or library and find a bottle collecting guide of some sort. I know that the Kovels usually print a price guide every year or so and they include prices of most decanters.
