I have a display case to fill this week at Sullivan University...I have an old charte, iw harper and several old fitz decanters that I know about... However this bottle I have yet to find a match on internet...All of the ones I have found are upright and colored...Anyone have an idea what time era this is?

I usually refer people to the pre pro website. They have a lot of info on old shot glasses, and other items from old companies. Any bottles marked with the federal law prohibits refill are from 1933 and after.

Beautiful bottle!!
Coon Hollow was a brand produced before Prohibition by at least 3 distilleries in Nelson County, RD# 379, RD# 294, and RD# 10. At least one of them was Cummins. The brand also was resurrected for awhile after Repeal; here is a photo of a post-Repeal version by National Distillers.

I agree that Pre-Pro.com is your best source for information about this. Try this link: http://www.pre-pro.com/midacore/snyder.php and enter "Coon Hollow" in the search box. In fact, they'd probably appreciate you uploading that photo to add to their database.
