Hi all, I am a newbie looking for some info on some whiskey my grandmother gave me. Its a 1960's Philadelphia blended whiskey. I have a case and just wondering if its worth saving or if its good to drink. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Most folks here wouldn't give it much attention, because it's a blended whiskey, but you should send a private message to Kinsey Worker.
He was employed by the Publicker/Continental company for years and he's always interested in anything they did. You can find his writings (and a wealth of information about your whiskey) in the "Bourbon Lore" forum. Look for the "My Days at Kinsey Distillery" thread.
Plan on spending awhile there. Dave is one of our most prolific contributors, and certainly the #1 expert on the Publicker/Continental/Kinsey distilleries.

If the bottles still look full, and not cloudy, it should be fine to drink. I'd say open one and give it a taste. :)

Yeah, especially if you have a case of 'em!
