Old Hermitage
Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2011 3:33 amI have a sealed bottle of Bourbon that I know nothing about, except that it is old. I was wondering if anyone could either tell me about it or direct me to where I could learn about it. I haven't had any luck searching the web. The label reads "Old Hermitage Bourbon Sour Mash" the bottle is marked 1 Qt. and the seal says it was made Srping 1912 and bottled Fall 1917. I know this is pre-prohibition, but I don't know if that is significant or not. Any information or advice would be appreciated.
