I've been told this is a good one to drink, but it's probably too rich for my blood. The bottle is sealed / unopened and I have the cap. One of my guys banged it into a doorpost coming out of the clean-out with a full box and the cap snapped off. (DAMMIT!!). Cork is clean and appears supple. Any ideas what year this is?
Park and Tilford only entered the spirits business with their own brands and distilleries after prohibition. Schenley acquired the company in the early 1950s. Looking at the label, I would date this bottle from the 1950s or 60s. I guess it just depends upon what Joe considers "Old".
