Hello,

I have an unopened, 86 proof, commemorative 1/2 pint bottle of 8-year Walker's Deluxe Bourbon. It is in a gold bottle, with the original liquor stamp on it.

The label on the front label reads, "Walker's Deluxe Bourbon, Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Distilled by Hiram Walker & Sons, Inc., Peoria, IL."

Back label reads, "This special gold bottle of 8-year-old Walker's Deluxe Bourbon was filled on January 23, 1973, from the 8,000,000th barrel of aged whiskey produced at the world's largest bourbon distillery at Peoria, IL. It is presented with appreciation and pride to the Hiram Walker team whose efforts made possible this historic milestone.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has come across these. It came from my wife's grandfather, who was a liquor distributor.

Thanks!

@ Krystov:

I hope you still haven't opened the Walker's Deluxe.

My father loved that bourbon and his 60th birthday is coming up in May 2012.

It would be a great gift.

Please respond, if you would be interested in me taking it off your hands.

Thank You
