This evening, after settling in, I am going to put match to an Avo Legacy, which has been waiting in the humidor since they were boxed, two years ago, I believe.

I like the symbolism of enjoying Wild Turkey with it, but alas, it is on the lower end of my tastes, so tonite it will be Four Roses Single Barrel.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

OH Yeah! ima really enjoys the Avo Legacy. I've found the Avo Signature to be very close to the Legacy in flavor and body, so I'll join you with an Avo Sig as I don't have any Legacys left.

I am quite fond of the Signatures as well. After tonite, there are two Legacys left in the humidor. A bud of mine found out how fond I am of them and gave me two from his humidor.

On Thanksgiving I enjoyed a Hoya De Monterey Habana (first one I ever smoked) with my son and some 20 year old Tawny Port and then some 100 month old Beam from the '70's. Exquisite. Life is good.

Joe, you're such a lucky dog! I remember well the great Beam bourbon from the 1970's. While I was in the U.S. Army, I could get that very same 100 month old Jim Beam - 90 proof at the PX for $9 for a full half of a gallon. No stupid metric-assed shit back then! I'd like to say something nasty about former President Jimmy Carter and his @#$%^!&*! metrification program, but as of now I am disallowed.

Kind words only.
