Tonight, on my cigar deck, I had a generous pour of Ron's 4 grain and a Padilla 6X50. Life is good.

Life is good, Joe!

I've got to go to the dump in the morning, but after that I'm going to fish out a Partagas Edition Limitada from Havana that has been aging for three years now. I'm thinking a glass of Wild Turkey Rare Breed would pair up nicely.

A couple of sips of George T. Stagg has put me in a fine mood here, bunghole. So...........since I don't smoke seegars.............I thought I would turn out the lights and lite a f _ rt! Makes a nice quick yellow flame and removes stray odors.........

For all you would be adults out there, remember, I am nothing if not an old f _ rt!

And I wuz going to grow up, surely I would have done it by now!!

A good cigar has a soothing effect on the nerves. You calm down and refocus on what's truely important in life. A great bourbon paired with an equally great cigar is a pure pleasure. Just ask Pappy - he knew.

Ah, me buddy, a well timed discharge of gas is of almost unparalleled pleasure, and relief...........bet Pappy knew that too also! But, as all us men know, most times it is best to keep it within the confines of our pants. Blame the other bloke if you can!

Bunghole, I apologize for intruding on your post!

Joe,

Your love of all things Michter's is both well known and well founded. The Torano "Virtuoso" is indeed sublime.

Since when have you become a "Torano 'Ho"?

Last night was a Romeo y Julieta (short churchills) from Habana and a couple pours of some Vintage 21yr.

It was a good night!!

Having adopted the name Padron and having smoked many cigars, I can say that there is no finer smoke than the family owned business from Miami. And while their Anniversary series is at the top of the Cigar Aficianado ratings their regular line is also an outstanding cigar at a fairly reasonable price. My recommendation....

.....a Padron 3000, 4000, or 5000 with a pour of Buffalo Trace, Elmer T Lee, or Wild Turkey Rare Breed.

...and plenty of summer left to try them all.
