Enjoying a nice Punch Rare Corojo with a finger of Vintage 17yr bourbon. Very tasty combo! :)
Too much of anything is bad, but too much of good whiskey is barely enough.

I don't often get the chance to smoke Cuban cigars but on a recent cruise to Aruba, among other ports of call, I noticed they had a "La Casa Del Habano" store. I picked up a Partagas Serie P, a Montecristo #2 and a Bolivar. I smoked these on the boat and the winner was the Bolivar.

Hi Ya'll, I just joined BE and thought I'd share. It appears as though its been a long time since anyone posted on this forum but what the hey.
Last night on the patio I burned a La Flor Dominicana and finished off the last of my Booker Noe 130 proof. Last night was a good night but sad.
Tonight I am trying Bulleit Bourbon and smoking a Padron.

I found out recently that my favorite cigar factory (Corfradia) in Hondouras is closing. Therefore I stocked up on Bolivars and El Rey Del Mundos. They are not going to be the same any more. Sad.

DAMN! Doesn't Corfradia also produce all the non-Cuban Partagas?

Linn, I'm not 100 % sure but I don't think so. I believe that Partagas are made by Ramón Cifuentes, but Punch are made there as well as Hoya De Monterey and JR Ultimates. All the cigars that I really like. What a bummer.

Tonight I am sitting in our new patio set smoking yet another Gloria Dominicana but I am trying a new bourbon.
Tonights sippin whisky is OGD 114.
As you can tell, it's a good night for me.

Yesterday we had our bourbon tasting and it was a 4 cigar day for me.
1. Montecristo N0.2 Havana
2. Partagas Serie No.4 Havana
3. Bolivar Corona Havana
4. Cain "F"
The intensity increased from 1 thru 4
I rarely smoke 4 in one day but with this array I made an exception. All excellent by the way.

Tonight on the Bourbon deck, on a perfect evening, I smoked a Casa Magna Colorado Toro (2008 cigar of the year) and had a pour of 17 y/o Stitzel-Weller (Jefferson's Presendential Select). Words do little to describe this experience. Thanks to Fricky for introducing me to both of these pleasures.

OH! That Fricky! Always forcing his friends to smoke fine cigars, and drink highly desired rare bourbons. The BATF is going to make him get a warning label tattoed on his forehead!

I've been a smokin fool this last week. 6 cigars in a week which is way more than I typically smoke. 5 of those were from a private collection, hand rolled, perfect stogies. I had to give up early on the last one cause it about put me under the table.

Perfect evening so I'm enjoying a Partagas Decadas Limited Reserve paired with a Redbreast 12 year.

Joe - I had the Bolivar corona just the other day and it's a very nice smoke. Along with the Bolivar, I also enjoyed a Le Hoyo des Dieux which was fantastic.
