I enjoy a good cigar now and again. It goes great with bourbon, and the other spirits. I like Bolivar, Partagas, Punch, Vegas Robaina, Cohiba, etc... (no cigar smoking smilie available :? ) :D

There are now :smoke: :cigar: :cigarnut:

I usually have one maybe 2 cigars a year and that is at the bourbon festival... And I can't even begin to tell ya' what kinds they are! :? I can't appreciate them like some but having one once a year is more of a fun thing for me.

I think a bunch of cigar-smokers wandered over from CW; I know I did. And, yeah, Vegas Robaina, San Cristobal, Partagas, Bolivar, ERDM -- all the good stuff.

PROVE IT! I'm almost as old as dirt (F. Castro) During the 'Cuban Missile Crisis' I started drinking (bourbon) and smoking heavily. Then I attained puberty. I have more gray hair than you do, but that is just because I have more hair. OK OK You Win! :thumbleft:

:thumbleft: Smokin' a Gurkha Regent Churchill right now with a glass of AAA 10 year old. Quite a nice pairing! The Gurkha was a gift. I didn't know that they are $10 sticks until I did some research after lighting up. Now I've forgotten who gave it to me and don't know who to thank.

I brought Gurkha perfectos to BF this year and they just hadn't been allowed to mellow in my humidor long enough. The first inch or so was nothing to brag on and then they suddenly sprang to life. They should be ready by the Sampler though. At last year's sampler I shared my favorite non-habano with a few people, a La Perla Habana Maduro Churchill. Now if I could only afford that box of Opus X Perfecxion2.... :cigar:

Love'em.
I also noticed a few familiar names from CW here (on CW, I'm ImJustaBill).
Favorite cigars are Montecristo, Partagas and Bolivar, but the "favorites" rotation changes from time to time.
I smoked an ISOM farm rolled yesterday with a glass of ER17 at my local cigar shop. The cigar was young and on the mild side, but paired well with the long caramel finish of the bourbon. Not exactly what I expected, but not a bad paring either.

I'm gonna kick your ass next time I see you, Old Man. :violent3:

Believe me, I'd even rather hang out with you than drive to and from Government Camp during rush hour traffic in the sleet and rain...

You're just mad because you didn't get to dump a bunch of those expensive farm-rolled or well-aged Habanos on me like you usually do. I got stuck with my own Partagas Serie D #4, and glasses of Pike Auld Acquaintance, Bombardier Ale (England) and Delirium Tremens (Belgium). It was torture!

Oh, and a two-year-old El Rey Del Mundo Demitasse.

And bangers.

Neener!
