Walking through today on my day off i went into the old Government Building O and I found original grain papers showing that days grain to be used and Mash Bills all were from March 1951 which proves what I said that Continental Distilling used Dsp-pa-12 till at least spring 1951 from when they bought the plant in early 1940 as my 90 year old Friend Ludy told me! Here are a couple of pictures.

Nice finds, Dave.

It looks as though they may have used malted rye as well as malted barley. Were these batches run through the DSP-10 rye still or the continous DSP-12 still? I would guess DSP 12 because of the size of the batches.

Can't wait to see what you find next.

Jeff they would in those years have been mostly using the Continueous Dsp-Pa-12 still for those because the other Still was a samll Pot type Still. It was a dream come true finding them as Ludy Had told me that Dsp-pa-12 ran into at least spring of 1951 and this proves what he said that Continental used the still for many years after Buying Kinsey.in around the Spring of 1940

I could not tell from the picture...is the second bill stating "Materials Received" that they used rye malt or that they were scratching out the rye malt?

Dave,
the numbers off of Cook 44 are as follows: .009, .876, .114. The other numbers are virtually the same, probably not enough to make a difference. This must have been their corn whisky mashbill?

So, are these the amounts that went into the cookers? Why did they add pre-malt?
