A Pint of History: Lexington Brewing Company, Lexington, Ky., Ambrose, William M.. William M. Ambrose: Lexington, Ky. 1999. Contents, Footnotes, Index, Illustrated, 120 pp.

This is a self published of the Lexington Brewing Company by William M Ambrose. It discusses the century of history of this company but really starts by looking at the origins of the brewing industry in the city of Lexington, Kentucky. The book is well illustrated with photographs of the city, the brewery and many artifacts from the brewery's history. It is very informative and includes the company's history during prohibition. The reader will be facinated by the this section of colorfull history.

This is a very good book for a whiskey library. The events of prohibition can help place the distilleries as well as the breweries in the framework of that era. A very good read.
