Davin de Kergommeaux is a certified Malt Maniac and trained sommelier who has been analyzing, writing, and talking about whisky, as an independent commentator, for more than a dozen years. He is both erudite and loquacious. Davin has started a new web site, the first (so far as I know) devoted to Canadian Whisky. Who would have thought the url CanadianWhisky.Org would still be available?

He has a piece up now about Dave Pickerell's WhistlePig Rye.

Wow! That's a really lovely site Davin's got! Clean and organized!

I don't know TOO much about Canadian Whiskey, but I'd love to learn more. . . .and this website is a great first step. So far, the website has been very educational me -- especially since I learned so much simply by reading the reviews of various local whiskeys. The use of adjectives and the placement of words really (mentally) brings out the flavors of each product that's reviewed. I've noticed that they seem to like things fairly sweet -- at least, that's what I've observed.

Anyway, it's a great site! I'll keep checking it out. Kudos.
