I had a chance to drink some of this rye from barrel 1 this past weekend. I did not take tasting notes, but did find it to be a very good product. I was expecting a very woody rye, but instead found it to be very fruity with dates and ripe apricots with some cinnimon spice and rich oak flavor, but not a lot of tannins. It was a very good drink of rye, but at $150.00 a bottle, I doubt that I will drink much more of it.
