| Purchased at: | Charlie's/ Gun Barrel City | | Purchased for: | $21.99 | | Nose: | Deep rye and cinnamon. Very spicy with a good alcohol burn. | | Taste: | Thick and oily. Brown sugar and buttered popcorn. Rye to the nth degree. Some caramel and maple mixed in. Very chewy. Not complex, but full bodied and an excellent burn. | | Finish: | Going, going, going and gone with the right amount of burn. Fades to popcorn and oak. | | Overall: | This is a straight forward in your face bourbon. Makes no if's, and's or but's about what your drinking. Balanced flavors, but a little rough. Kinda like a Fighting Cock type profile with a little less kick. I love it, I want more, please bring this expression back. Great value for a Single Barrel. A picture will be posted in the discussion section. |
