The whiskey is hidden behind this wine. | | Taste: | Odd taste, lots of copper and rye here.. Like a Woodfords. Lots of rye in this one. Definitely can tell this is BT. | | Finish: | Wine sweet and then corn, leather and goes to a smooth oak/rye tale. | | Overall: | Not much of the wine here other than the nose. I would have thought the cab franc would have been more aggressive against the bourbon, but I think that this barrel of BT was too strong for it. |
