Deep amber hue. Generous sweet wood and caramel aromas. A relatively viscous attack leads to a moderately full-bodied palate. Lingering, flavorful finish. Well balanced and straightforward with a slight burn.

Review from Victor28 (BourbonEnthusiast Review ID 1861, Created:20100823114052, Updated:20100823114422)
Purchased at:Montgomery County Maryland
Purchased for:$ 6 for 750 ml
Info on this bottle:Blend 51% Straight Bourbon Whiskey 49% Neutral Spirits
Nose:Caramel, vanilla, honey give a pleasant light sweet scent
Taste:rye, caramel, vanilla
Finish:Nice long slow lingering finish, very smooth
Overall:I would not have bought this bottle if I had noticed that it was a blended whiskey, but it was a very pleasant surprise. It sips straight better than many straight bourbons, and is overall very pleasant. Strongly recommended for a mellow mood when you are not seeking the more intense flavor experiences. While I am not a big fan of blended bourbons, at about $6 I don't know a better bourbon flavor deal for the money.
